The Rise and Fall of the Greek Empire
I created and illustrated this book cover. The cover features Icarus from Greek mythology. When Icarus’ wings were damaged after flying too close to the sun, he fell back to earth.
The illustration of Icarus had to work both rising and falling. The image was created on scratch board.
Eye Catching Advertising Spread
A story was featured in Coastal Magazine about Coastal’s new hands-on advertising. Coastal wanted it to grab the attention of the reader. This spread was also in the ’92 Communication Arts Design Annual.
