AA 42nd Street Shuttle Wrap - New York, NY
Imagine waiting for the subway to pull into the station. You hear the noise approaching. You see the front light of the lead car getting closer. With the rush of wind in your hair, you realize it’s an American Airlines plane stopping in front of you. To get the attention of busy New Yorkers, the 42nd Street Shuttle was wrapped to look like the fuselage of an American Airlines aircraft. Inside each car, riders were immersed in a fantastic 360-degree European environment, showcasing amazing destinations served by American Airlines and its new business partners, British Airways and Iberia.
The Outside
The exterior was designed to look like the outside of an American Airlines Plane.
The Inside
The interior was a collage of destinations that the new partnership made possible. The roof was designed to look like a sky with American and its partners flying over head.
